FAFSA – Free Application for Federal Student Aid

A form completed by current and prospective college students in the US to determine their eligibility for student financial aid. Applications open October 1st, and should be submitted by March 2nd to qualify for many state and federal financial aid programs.

College Board Big Future: College and Majors Search as well a scholarship search under the BigFuture tab. Search by region, major, sports, size of school and many other criteria to find colleges that match you.

California Colleges: A career interest profiler helps discover potential career pathways that match your interests. Tools then help select a major, search for colleges, and investigate financial aid options (has information about colleges nationwide, not just California).

College Data: College search engine that offers detailed information about each university to conduct more in-depth research into colleges of interest.

The Common App: The Common Application is an undergraduate college admission application that applicants may use to apply to any of more than 950 member colleges and universities in all 50 states.

CSU Apply: Information and application for the 23 California State University campuses. Application opens October 1st and closes on November 30th.
